Day at the Farm

I apologize for not posting in so long! I am going to try to be better at posting on a regular basis, especially with the new baby on the way.

Joe and Miles spent the day at a farm owned by a friend of ours. Joe said that Miles loved the tractor rides and especially playing in the creek. This picture was just too cute not to share, IMO!

Disney World

I apologize that I have not posted for a long time. I know that I promised pictures of our trip, and have yet to deliver. I am doing so now.

We had a wonderful trip last month to 'Mickey Mouse's House', as Miles likes to call it. This was our first big vacation since Miles was born and we were ready to get away. Miles loved riding on the airplane and everything about Disney World.

We spent our first day at the Animal Kingdom, where he got to meet all of the big characters right off the bat. We all enjoyed the 'Festival of the Lion King' show while we were there. The second day we went to the Magic Kingdom where we had a great day! Miles even rode Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain with all of us. That evening, just the three of us went to EPCOT and had a nice evening. We watched the shuttle take off, at least until it started raining.

The third day we were there we went to Hollywood Studios. We started off the day with a character breakfast which we all loved! Miles got to meet his friends from the Little Einsteins and Jo Jo's Circus. When we are able to go to Disney World again, we will definetly plan on character dining. We spent about 1/2 the day there, and then headed back to Magic Kingdom, because Miles wanted to ride the rides. His favorite was the tea cups. This was our first time seeing the Kingdom decorated for Christmas. The castle was breathtaking and something we will always remember. We ended the evening watching fireworks and the Electromagic parade - both were spectacular.

The fourth and final day we were in Florida, we headed to Downtown Disney to do a little shopping before catching our plane. Miles had a good time at the Lego store.

Overall, we had a great trip and are looking forward to visiting again soon. Hope you enjoy a few of our pictures.

Headed to Disney World

We are leaving for Disney World tomorrow and we are pretty excited. This will be our first major vacation since Miles was born, so we are anxious to see how it is going to go. Miles is really looking forward to meeting Mickey Mouse. When we get back, I will definitely post some pictures and let you know how it went. Blessings to you all!

Halloween

Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! Here are a few pictures of our 'Little Buzz'. Miles had a good time trick-or-treating, but I think his favorite part of the night was handing out candy to the kids that came to our house.

Bouncertown

We took Miles to Bouncertown on his actual birthday, October 14th. He had a great time jumping and sliding. It was interesting to see that he was not at all scared of the giant slide, only Mommy was! The three of us enjoyed a memorable afternoon together.

Miles' 3rd Birthday

On October 11th we had a wonderful celebration for Miles' 3rd birthday. We had lots of family join us and, most importantly, Miles had a great day. Thank you to everyone who took their Saturday to make him feel special and loved. We are truly blessed with an amazing family!

Just getting started
